Is photography allowed in the exhibition?
Due to the delicate nature of the artifacts, photography and cameras are not permitted within the exhibition. Guests may take photographs outside the actual exhibition. Postcards featuring highlight artifacts, as well as catalogues with photography of each artifact and text from Dr. Zahi Hawass are available in the gift shop.
Are guided tours available in the galleries?
An audio tour narrated by award-winning actor Harrison Ford is available for a minimal charge. For Houston, guides will be available in English & Spanish. Sharing of the wands is not recommended because only one visitor can listen to the wand at one time, therefore sharing would likely double the length of your visit.
Are food and drinks allowed?
No food or drinks are allowed inside the exhibition. The Museum café has a variety of hot and cold food and refreshments for before or after your exhibition experience.
Are there benefits for museum members?
