Admission to Tutankhamun: The Golden King and the Great Pharaohs requires a timed-entry ticket, with entrance to the exhibition taking place every 30 minutes during the times below.  For planning purposes, school groups may visit anytime but the vast majority of school groups visit the museum from 9:30 a.m. to noon, Monday through Friday.  

Monday –Wednesday: 10:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
(museum opens at 9:30 a.m.; closes at 5:00 p.m.)

Thursday – Saturday: 10:00 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
(museum opens at 9:30 a.m.; closes at 9:00 p.m.)

Sunday: 12:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.
(museum opens at 12:15 p.m.; closes at 7:00 p.m.)
